APC chieftain Dr. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for measures aimed at improving pension payments and welfare for retirees across Nigeria.
Bolarinwa praised the prompt payment of pensions and gratuities, as well as the Federal Government’s approval of the N758 billion pension bond to clear outstanding accrued pension rights.
He also highlighted initiatives including the Minimum Pension Guarantee, PenCare Health Initiative and Federal Government Exit Benefit Scheme, saying the measures would improve the wellbeing and financial security of senior citizens.
