The United States ( US ) government has declared two Nigerian men, Ezechukwu Ohaka and Tayo Muyiwa Olukoya, wanted over separate allegations involving Medicare fraud and drug-related offences.
According to the US Department of Homeland Security, Ohaka allegedly submitted more than $3.1 million in fraudulent Medicare claims through his Houston-based company. The United State Of America Drug Enforcement Administration separately declared Olukoya, also known as Uncle, wanted over an alleged conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.
The development comes as the United State Of America Embassy in Abuja has issued a health alert following a reported Ebola case in Nigeria. The mission advised travellers to follow health guidance, watch for symptoms and monitor their health for 21 days after visiting areas experiencing an outbreak.
