A Nigerian woman identified as @Adasu_d_gr8 on X has sparked reactions after advising people not to marry partners they expect to struggle financially with.

She said financial stability should be considered before marriage, stressing that her comments were not meant to shame people who are struggling. She argued that financial hardship within a marriage could eventually affect the children.

The woman specifically advised women against marrying financially struggling men, saying they should consider the possible consequences for their future families before saying yes to marriage.
