Political scientist Pat Utomi has argued that Nigerians aged 70 and above should not occupy the office of the president.
Pat Utomi made the remarks in a post on his X handle, claiming that Nigeria could save resources spent on medical trips to Europe if voters rejected presidential candidates above 70.
He also expressed confidence in Peter Obi’s presidential ambition, saying his victory would end corruption and ensure accountability over public funds. Utomi urged Nigerians to vote wisely in the forthcoming election.
