Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has said President Bola Tinubu has not offended the Igbo, insisting that the President will win Imo State in the 2027 election. He made the remarks during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
Okorocha said the resentment towards former President Muhammadu Buhari in Imo State and the South-East was greater than what Tinubu currently faces. He added that the APC experienced some of its toughest challenges in the state during Buhari’s administration.
The former governor also argued that public anger against Governor Hope Uzodimma should not be mistaken for opposition to Tinubu. He further challenged Uzodimma to appeal the Federal High Court judgment declaring him the winner of the APC primary for Imo West Senatorial District.
