Paul Ibe, media aide to African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu is unwell and needs medical attention rather than campaigning for re-election in 2027. Ibe made the claim while reacting to a viral video from the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna State.
In an interview with Daily Post, Ibe questioned Tinubu’s fitness to lead the country, urging his family to prioritise his health. He pointed to what he described as shaking during the campaign event and alleged that camera angles were deliberately used to avoid showing the President clearly while he spoke.
Ibe maintained that medical care should be Tinubu’s priority instead of campaigning for another term. However, his remarks represent allegations by the opposition aide and do not independently establish the President’s health condition.
