Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has apologised to her colleague Laide Bakare over her reaction when Bakare’s name was mentioned during a recent interview on comedian Isbae U’s show. In a post on Instagram, Badmus acknowledged that her response may have appeared dismissive and expressed regret over how it was perceived.
In her statement, Eniola Badmus said she wanted peace despite any differences between them, adding that she genuinely wished Bakare well. She encouraged both parties to move forward without negativity or grudges, stressing the importance of maturity and letting go.
The apology follows Bakare’s public criticism of Badmus over the interview reaction. Bakare had accused her colleague of repeatedly attempting to damage her reputation, prompting renewed attention to the relationship between the two actresses.
