Nigerian singer Lojay has revealed that some members of his family doubted his chances of succeeding in music when he decided to pursue the career. The ‘Monalisa’ hitmaker shared the experience during a recent livestream with content creator Gilmore.
Lojay recalled that one of his uncles, whom he described as wealthy and influential and who is now involved in politics, told him he would never succeed in the music industry. The singer said he chose not to let the discouragement stop him from pursuing his ambition.
Reflecting on his journey, Lojay said he was glad his determination had paid off. He also encouraged his fans to believe in their dreams and remain focused despite criticism or doubts from people around them.

Great things comes with some negativities and that’s why whenever you want to do something great you must first be able to see farther than the beginning, you must forsee the greatness it encapsulates in years time…this is what the “white” does regularly and it always pays off massively at the long run….so Okay I celebrate your determination and focus and persistence….I celebrate your achievements too, cheers🥂
