Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, to increase his payment following his participation in an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally at Onikan Stadium in Lagos. According to Naija News, the singer made the demand after campaigning and entertaining supporters at the event.
Videos circulating on social media showed Portable moving around the venue and interacting with attendees before appearing exhausted. In one clip, he was seen lying on the floor and insisting that he wanted to meet Tinubu and Seyi before leaving. His manager, Babylov, tried to persuade him to get up as they prepared to depart the stadium.
Portable acknowledged that he had already received payment for attending the rally but argued that the physical strain and heat he experienced deserved additional compensation. “Tinubu, pay me more money; I am feeling so much heat,” he said. Reports also claimed that the singer fainted amid overcrowding at the gathering.
