Funke Akindele has urged Nigerians not to lack in praying for the country.
She stated this on Thursday while celebrating Nigeria’s 66th Independence Day amid growing economic hardship.
She shared her Instagram page, saying that “Nigeria is our own.”
She told them not to stop praying, noting that “Nigeria will be great by God’s grace.”
“Today is our country’s birthday, we have to celebrate despite what’s going on. Nigeria is our own. It’s our country, this is where I earn a living from.
“We’re not going to stop celebrating Nigeria as our country. Nigeria will be great by God’s grace. Let’s keep praying for Naija.”
